PRIVACY AND INFORMATION CAPSULES
What we do to safeguard your privacy
In short, personal data is information that can be linked to you as a person. Personal information can be name, telephone number, address, but it can also be things like IP addresses, a behavioral pattern, or an assessment/profiling based on a data set. We will need some of your personal information in order to be able to answer your inquiry as best as possible and give you the right information.
All use of personal data is considered processing. This can, for example, be collection, registration, compilation, storage and delivery or a combination of these.
Automotive Consulting Group (ACG) is responsible for processing personal data that is processed in connection with the use of our services and in customer relations. The fact that ACG is responsible for processing primarily means that we are the ones who have the responsibility and duties we must comply with according to the Personal Data Protection Regulation.
We are concerned that you understand how we handle data about you, and in this privacy statement we explain what data we collect, how we do it and what we use it for.
Inquiries and customer follow-up
In order for us to be able to follow up with you as a customer, we must have some information to be able to reach you. We get this information through you contacting us by e-mail, you thus choose which information you want to share with us, and whether you want to keep in touch via e-mail or telephone. Your personal information will not be used for purposes other than answering your inquiry and possibly adding you as a customer. If your inquiry has been answered and it does not lead to anything further, we will delete your e-mail within 1 month.
About cookies
When you visit our website, we register various types of information about you as a user in a "Cookie." In short, a cookie is a small file that is stored locally in your browser. A cookie cannot perform actions, control things or be harmful/contain viruses.
What information is recorded about you as a user
When you visit ACG online, we register various types of information about you as a user:
Your location, using part of your IP address, location data or the like
Your web behaviour, such as which pages you visit on the hosted website, how often and what you do on the various pages
Technical information about your browser and operating system
All information is automatically anonymized, and will not be used by us or a third party to identify you as a person. The information will also not be used for marketing purposes, only for analytical purposes.
How we collect and store information about you
Information about you as a user is captured and stored using cookies and in some cases part of your IP address, which is anonymized and inaccessible to us and the third party.
All data traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted, and is stored with our strict requirements for data security. The same applies to all traffic to the third parties, which will be Google Analytics and HotJar.
The purposes and how we use data collected on the website
Data about your web behavior is used for several different purposes:
Cookies for analytical purposes
_gat
Owner: Google
Expires: after 1 minute
Purpose: this cookie is used to collect information on specific page elements that have a Google Tag, which is created in Google Tag Manager. The information that is collected is about your user behavior on the website, primarily what you click on. We collect this information to see how the website is experienced by users, and to improve functionality and content. The information is completely anonymous and cannot be linked to a person
_go
Owner: Google
Expires: the cookie itself expires after 2 years, but anonymized user and event data is removed in Google Analytics after 14 months from the date the data was recorded
Purpose: this cookie is used in much the same way as _gat, but it collects information generally about your user behavior on the website; what you click on, how long you are on various pages, and whether you use inquiry or contact forms. We collect this information to see how the website is experienced by users and to improve functionality and content. The information is completely anonymous and cannot be linked to a person. User and event data associated with cookies, user identifiers or advertising identifiers are stored in Google Analytics.
_gid
Owner: Google

Purpose: the purpose of this cookie is the same as _ga, but this cookie's specific function is to distinguish users of the website. It does this by using part of your IP address, and it also finds your approximate location based on this part of the IP address. The location data is not more accurate than municipality or city, and cannot be linked to a person. The part of your IP address will be anonymized both for us and Google, so we will never see this in the analysis tool

When you no longer have agreements or inquiries with us, we will still take care of your personal data and relevant information from your customer relationship. This information is deleted from our systems when other legislation requiring storage and/or archiving ceases after 10 years. Information from customer relationships will not be deleted if a criminal offense or legal dispute is being uncovered.

You can order access to which information we process about you and which security measures we have in place around the use of your information.
Suspicion of unauthorized access:
You must confer with one of our customer contacts if you suspect that unauthorized access has occurred by one of our employees. Customer contact will assist you when ordering an investigation.
